Cooking Classes
Cooking is an act of love and can be such a nourishing process. It can, however, also be very intimidating. One-on-one or small group classes with Chef Rachel afford a creative space to build on the fundamentals of plant-forward cooking, with expert guidance targeted to your skill set and culinary goals. Learn sharper knife skills, how to use spices to enhance the complexity of dishes and how to make cooking more fun!
Intimate Catering Events
Experience the luxury of fine dining in the comfort of your own home. Chef Rachel brings her experience both in professional kitchens and in leading service teams together when planning and executing private events. You can expect a full-service, intimate catered event for anywhere from two to 16 guests with personalized menu design, curated tablescapes and loving attention to detail. Wine consultation and pairing advice also available.
Speaking Engagements
Chef Rachel has had the honor of guest lecturing on two occasions at Georgetown University in Washington DC in undergraduate Food Narratives classes. She tackled subjects ranging from the challenges of running successful food-based businesses, to how to best craft one’s writing to build relationships with clients, to cultural appropriation in the culinary world. Chef Rachel is available for similar speaking engagements and educational opportunities.
